These are the general instructions for fasting:

  • You may drink water.

  • If you are on any medications, ask your medical provider.

  • Remember to bring your ID card and prescriptionand your health insurance card (in case you have health insurance).

  • Babies: Ask your child's pediatrician. You may go to our centers with experts in pediatric blood draws.

  • We ask you to follow these instructions so that your test results are valid:
  • 8-hour fasting: general tests, including urinalysis.

  • 12-hour fasting: Total cholesterol/HDL-/LDL-cholesterol Liver function tests. Triglycerides Total lipids Lipid panel.

Prolactina y Cortisol:
– Extracción entre 7 y 8.30hs
– Deberá realizar 20 minutos de reposo previo en el Laboratorio

Curva de Glucosa:
– De Lunes a Viernes de 7 a 10hs
– Sábados únicamente a las 8hs
